Terms of use
Last updated October 12, 2026.
These terms govern your use of The Triangle, an international investment hub headquartered at One World Trade Center, Floor 85, New York, NY 10007. By signing in you agree to them.
1. What The Triangle is
The Triangle is a connector and facilitator. It introduces founders and accredited investors and provides tools such as profiles, a document room and a SAFE builder. The Triangle does not issue securities, does not hold funds, does not provide investment, tax or legal advice through the platform tools, and is not a party to any SAFE or other agreement between a company and an investor.
2. Eligibility
Investors must be accredited investors under applicable U.S. securities laws, or otherwise qualify under an applicable exemption, and must confirm this when they apply. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement.
3. Accounts
You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping the information in your profile accurate. We may review, approve, reject, suspend or remove profiles and listings at our discretion, including to protect investors and founders.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you upload, including documents and profile text. You grant The Triangle a limited licence to host, display and process that content to operate the service. Public profile fields, such as an approved investor page, are visible to anyone on the internet.
5. SAFE builder and templates
The SAFE builder produces a draft based on the Triangle post-money SAFE form. It is a drafting aid, not legal advice. You are responsible for the terms you choose and should have qualified counsel review any agreement before it is sent or signed.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not misrepresent your identity, accreditation status or company information.
- Do not upload content you do not have the right to share, or that is unlawful or harmful.
- Do not attempt to access other users’ data, disrupt the service or scrape it at scale.
7. Risk
Investing in startups is speculative and illiquid, and you may lose your entire investment. Nothing on The Triangle is an offer or solicitation to buy or sell securities.
8. Liability and governing law
The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, The Triangle is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you in the product or by email. Continuing to use The Triangle after a change means you accept it.
